I am a fan of yours and follow you every time you come to Alphabet city. I just wanted to follow up on dedicating a song to Ana Fabricia a voice for the Working and Landless of Colombia. Ana Fabricia Cordoba, cousin of Colombian Senator Piedad Cordoba (herself threatened numerous times and also lately) was killed June 6, 2011 in Colombia.

Ana Fabricia was a lifelong activist for human rights and the rights of the displaced (refugees) people of Colombia. Her husband was assassinated in 2001; she accused the Colombian police of the murder.

It is one more of the foretold deaths that everyone expected with present president Santos. President Obama has come out in favor of signing a free trade agreement with Colombia; this agreement will give more power to those who order the killings and hurt the working class and poor people of Colombia.
